Architecture and Construction

At Wheeling High School, students can take part in courses that will help them become successful in post-high school architectural courses including Project Lead the Way (PLTW), CAD Courses, and Woods.  These courses will not only prepare students for college architectural courses but also prepare them for a career in the building trades. Students in PLTW courses can earn college credit from several universities.

Job Statistics: Through 2018 the industry is expected to grow faster than average. Many new jobs will develop for designing environmentally-friendly buildings.
