Wheeling HS Parent-Teacher Organization is your organization to:

1.   Be informed on issues that affect your school and children.

2.   Have your voice heard.

3.   Support school programs that are important to you.

We urge every WHS parent, teacher and staff member to join PTO.

WHS PTO Mission:

A.Promote closer relationship between the home and Wheeling High School (WHS) so that parents and educators may cooperate intelligently in the education of our children.  Primarily through periodic meetings, we provide a forum for the school to communicate its programs and needs and for parents to communicate their needs.

B.   Promote by means of volunteerism, sponsorship and/or funding, WHS academic and social activities and projects which enhance the educational process.

C.   Promote by means of volunteerism, sponsorship and/or funding, the welfare of WHS youth in home, school, and community.  This includes providing for drug, alcohol, and tobacco free activities to keep our students safe.

D.   Promote by means of volunteerism, sponsorship and/or funding, for the continuing education of WHS graduates.

E.    Conduct fundraising activities that support WHS PTO objectives.
