1. What events or feelings fueled this genocide/persecution?

2. Choose a person who was involved in this genocide/persecution or who has been directly involved in this persecution and describe his/her contributions, positive or negative, to this genocide/persecution.

3. Discuss possible ways to stop, deter, and/or punish those responsible for this genocide/persecution (such as arrests, trials, sanctions, sending in troops, new laws, education, etc.) Are they effective?

4. What are the immediate and long-term political, economic, and/or social effects that this genocide/persecution has had on society?
