Microsoft Word
Text Boundaries: Show in document
Text boundaries are single dotted lines that appear around the page margins, text columns, and objects of your document. The text boundaries are usually hidden. These boundaries are used for layout purposes and do not print.
Text boundaries are especially helpful in column view (brochures).
You can configure Word to display the text boundaries so you can see the exact layout of your document:
1. From the menu bar, click Word -- Preferences.
2. Click the View button under Authorizing and Proofing Tools.
