SAT

SAT measures the knowledge and skills that research shows are essential for college and career readiness and success. The assessment is composed of Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Math and an optional writing test. Although optional, this test or the ACT is required for admission by many post-secondary institutions.

National SAT & Subjects Test
 

During the 2017-18 school year Wheeling High School will offer the National SAT & Subject Tests on the following Saturdays:

Saturday, October 7, 2017 (SAT & Subject Tests)

Saturday, March 10, 2018 (SAT only)

Register online for the SAT. If you do not already have a College Board account, you will have to set one up. You will need a credit card to complete the registration.

SAT State Testing

A state-funded SAT will be administered to all Wheeling High School juniors on:

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

All juniors will be automatically registered for this SAT. This in-school administration will include the essay. Students who have an extended time accommodation per their IEP or 504 Plan may be required to test over 2 consecutive days. All 11th grade students must take the SAT to receive a regular high school diploma.
