DREAMERS: typically individuals in the U.S. who were brought to the country at an early age without documentation but have assimilated to American culture and have been educated in the U.S school system. It is approximated that 10% of these students work towards a degree in higher education.
Undocumented students may apply for many of the local and national scholarships found in Family Connection. Look for those that do not require U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency. You can also apply for merit scholarships at most colleges. Below are several additional resources listing scholarships specifically for undocumented students.
