Masankho Banda, a world-renowned PeaceBuilder and healer, visited Wheeling High School on January 16 to conduct a workshop with students.
Banda, once recognized by The Dalai Lama, conducted a variety of sessions with students throughout the school day, including percussion sets and theater presentations with freshmen and sophomores.
Originally from Malawi, Banda also met and collaborated with a variety of school clubs, including Interact with Africa and SHADES.
Wheeling educator Diane Rawlinson organized the event. To view more pictures, click here.
